ABIGAIL PARKER
Wildlife and Botanical artist Abigail's practice combines her two passions - Art and Nature - into a useful working whole. She paints our endangered local flora and fauna in finely detailed watercolours and oils, and large 'statement' oil paintings highlighting environmental issues, in order to spotlight what we are rapidly losing. Also proficient in graphics, social media, and website design, Abigail is currently our AAG Chairperson, handles our website and graphics, and runs our Botanic Art group. Her artwork can be viewed at her home studio, by appointment, and at selected exhibitions. See Abigail's: Artists Profile, Website and Facebook Page |
DEIRDRE BARROT
My main inspiration is Nature – I like to play with line, colour and shape. “Doodling” is good and often the shapes, colours and lines take on a life of their own (which may well end up very differently from the original idea.) Inspiration also comes from the materials themselves – a new type of ink or paint or pen needs to be played with often leads to a whole other set of work. I love the way one idea develops into another... See Deirdre's Artist Profile |
HELEN HEEREY
Helen is our hard-working and highly effective Treasurer. She paints in vibrant watercolour, and largely paints from nature and the environment, using a loose and atmospheric style, and she loves to play around with all the different effects of watercolour. See Helens Artists Profile |

She mostly works in oil, but also enjoys mixed media, watercolour, pencil and charcoal. See Judi’s Artist Profile, Facebook page www.facebook.com/judirose.art and Instagram https://www.instagram.com/judi.rose/ |
KATIE ROWE
Katie’s paintings are mostly abstract and fluid. She likes to depict natural phenomena in an abstract style, exploring the variety of colours, shapes and patterns that nature excels in. Katie is inspired by the powerful and dramatic images seen in natural actions like auroras, volcanoes, rainbows and ocean movements, as well as the night sky and the undefined blends of colour in reflections of mirages and snow. She loves the bright colours and movement of the autumn palette which has inspired several works and spills into many of her pieces. See Katie on Instagram KIMBERLY ROSE JONES
Kimberly lives in Narrikup north of Albany, and paints in Gouache and ink, as well as Acrylic and Graphite. Subject matter varies from native orchids and animals particular to Southern and South West Western Australia, and woodland creatures from the netherworld in fanciful illustration. Keen to get out and about with his take on reality, you may see him with his wares at a market somewhere purloining pet pictures and whimsical portraits.
